We wish you a blessed New Year and it is with a rejoiced heart that we present you this newsletter, sharing with you the activities of the last quarter of 2023. Before we continue, we want to take a moment to thank our Father in Heaven for His breathtaking faithfulness once again shown to us. Again and again we are amazed and surprised at the way He leads, His faithfulness in what He has said and also does and the way He provides. The experience "He will do it Again and Again, You may not know how, you may not know when but He did it again" has long been our our daily experience and lifestyle.

But you beloved volunteer, donor & customer, your dedication to us we are also deeply grateful to you. Without you, much that we share with you in this newsletter would not have been possible. Your role and contribution in any way has been invaluable to us and our mission, and we have prayed God's blessing over you.
|
This last quarter of 2023 was another great success for us and we look back with satisfaction at what we were able to accomplish again with God's help and yours. Better put, "What we were able to accomplish together." We were able to help mainly children and teenagers (the future of tomorrow) learn how to make A New Start this quarter.
|
We remain determined to continue to realize our mission "one day at the time" for young and old. We see the important events prophesied in the Bible unfolding, and the great day when our Father will come for us is not far away. As the crisis intensifies, we become even more motivated to work harder and more tirelessly for the mission for which we are called. Your partnership in this remains very important to us. 100% PLANT-BASED COOKING CLASS FOR CHILDREN
|
|
|
|
We believe that "learned young is done old" remains valid for all ages. We organized 100% plant-based cooking class for children between 5 and 10 years old, where they learned cooking techniques and 100% plant-based basic dishes that they can make themselves. With great fun, eager to learn and super enthusiastic, our future kitchen princes and princesses gave an amazing performance in cooking techniques and preparation of the 100% plant-based dishes they learned in the class. Young learned is guaranteed to be old done.

Parents were very pleased and look forward to more kids club activities to follow.
|
|
|
|
|
|
100% PLANT-BASED COOKING CLASSES ALSO FOR TEENS
|
|
|
As previously announced, we also started a teen club this quarter. The first activity was 100% plant-based cooking classes. Teens between the ages of 11 and 16 learned to make 100% plant-based starters, mains, and desserts themselves, because that is what every teenager should be able to do. Many parents seized this opportunity. Also because perhaps soon their children will have to study overseas, where they often have to live completely independently and healthy cooking during his/her studies is essential.

Super fun and enthusiastic teen group, busy preparing delicious starter, main and dessert. How delicious we and later the parents ate. What a talent these teens have, Don't underestimate what your teen can do!

INVITE US TO PROVIDE A HEALTH LECTURE/ACTIVITY AT YOUR OFFICE OR FOR FAMILY OR COMPANY, ALSO POSSIBLE ONLINE, HELPING TO CREATE A HEALTHIER SOCIETY

Also during this quarter, our team was every Monday in Youth Penitentiary Institution in Curacao (JJIC), where we help young people who have committed crimes to make a new start. In the picture the team of volunteers, after we finished the year 2023 with a sports activity with the young people in JJIC. We give each inmate a Bible because it is read by them and also used during our spiritual counseling.

WE REGULARLY NEED NEW BIBLES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WHO UNFORTUNATELY ARE JOINING. BUT THANK GOD, THERE ARE ALSO YOUNG PEOPLE WHO CAN NOW LEAVE PRISON WITH HOPE.

CHILDREN'S DAY CASA MANITA
|
|
|
|
|
|
For the children of children's home "Casa Manita," we supported Jair's birthday celebration initiative there for another year, playing games with the children. Last year we were at Kinder tehuis Brakkeput.
|
|
|
|
|
After the games, the children got to enjoy delicious cake, snacks and drinks that Jair had brought. The children were very enthusiastic and happy. The management very grateful. A box of children's Bibles was left for the children.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
THE CHRISTMAS STORY FILMED
|
|
|
|
|
|
The Christmas story seen through the eyes of children, we have filmed, entitled "A Baby Who Changed the World." It was narrated and acted by our children. We admired the talents of our children and aimed to make the viewers dwell on how this Baby, later Big Jesus changed the world.
|
|
|
|
|
The video shoot was done at the beautiful Finca Farandula and we would like to thank the owner Sjadilla for facilitating their Finca as a location for this video shoot. Finca Farandula Many Thanks!

|
|
|
|
Also this quarter, we had to say goodbye to our dear tantji dechi (Ingrid Kirindongo) and her husband Doctor Anthony Kirindongo. These ENS volunteers, are back home, in the US. We wish them God's guidance and know that they will continue the good work wherever God leads them.

But God is good. He leads one worker to another field and where there is a gap in the work, the God provides for the harvest. It was with joy that we welcomed "Aunt Anelica Kelly" who has joined our Kids and Teens club team.

|
|
|
|
|
We would like to thank all our volunteers for their efforts this past year. Without you, none of this would have been possible. Our thanks is very great.

TRANSLATION AMAZINGFACTS STUDY GUIDES
|
|
|
After years of using Amazingfacts' English study guides, we have always wished to make these powerful, postmodern study guides also available in dutch for our dutch-speaking friends. We reached an agreement with amazingfactsministry to translate their set of 27 study guides into Dutch. Our team immediately got to work on the translation and was able to deliver the translation 8 months later. We immediately made it available online on our website, where our friends immediately started to study online. People still can't get over how grateful they are to now have online access to such a great, practical, colorful, to the point, postmodern study guide, in their Dutch language. This is a great help for our friends who wish to better understand the Bible and Bible prophecies.In the meantime, we are in the process of putting the Dutch text into the original layout format so that it can be printed hardcopy. Next we will make it available to the public. Especially for our friends who like to read hardcopy and remember that hardcopies cannot be censored.

There is also great interest in the translated study guides in the Netherlands and Belgium. The foundation Lightchanneltv Nederland has joined us to help put the Dutch text in the original layout format. We will then print and distribute it as needed.
|
|
|
|
Our goal is to move to hardcopy printing and distribution in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
We also served hundreds of delicious and healthy 100% plant-based meals, pastries & drinks at various occasions this quarter. including Curinde brunch, Mia empowerment program, Christmas dinners, etc. Thanks to our chefs. In particular Chef Eunice who once again worked tirelessly this quarter. God bless her richly with her talent.
